Michał Siedlecki reviews the book by Kazimierz Świegocki, entitled: Mickiewicz egzystencjalny (Mickiewicz Existentialist). Świegocki addressed his work to experts in works of Adam Mickiewicz. This is not an egalitarian or popular science work. The sketches are erudite. emphasises fact that research Świegockiremains important element contemporary studies on Although it does resemble a standard dissertation, worth focusing our attention on, as deals with some fundamental issues Bard, from Crimean Sonnets through Dziady (The Forefathers’ Eve) Pan Tadeusz (Mister Thaddeus), particularly last poet listed here. In the title complex, [Pr(2)(C(2)O(4))(3)(H(2)O)(4)](n), the two independent Pr(III) ions are both nine-coordinated in a distorted monocapped square-anti-prismatic geometry by seven O atoms from four oxalate ligands and two water mol-ecules. The Pr(III) ions are bridged by the oxalate ligands, forming a layer parallel to (001). O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect the layers.
